Melvin Cardozo is part of the original 1APP founding team. Prior to founding 1APP, Melvin spent more than thirteen years at Synopsys in a variety of technical leadership roles. Most recently, he served as an R&D Director where he managed a large team spanning multiple countries and was responsible for the large scale deployment of both internal tools and external simulation related tools on private clouds at Synopsys and other prominent customers. Prior to that, he worked on improving the performance of the Verilog compiler and lead the technical team in developing the System Verilog compiler at Synopsys. He holds a patent for the system and method for reducing size of simulation value change files and has filed various other patents at Cloudzilla.
